Hello again everyone! So this weekend I went home for Chinese New Year and had an amazing time. My mom made a ton of food and I got to spend some time with my family. 新年快乐! Anyhow, my friends and I are going to celebrate another friend's birthday. (That was a very poorly constructed sentence, haha.) So, I made these super cute and super fun cupcakes. Enjoy!

Supplies:
- Things to make cupcakes (You have a brain. Go figure it out)

- Food Coloring
- Icing
- RAINBOW SPRINKLES!

1. Prepare cake mix according to box.

2. Separate half of cake mix into some bowls. Create your favorite colors!

Important: Keep some regular white cake mix for later.

3. Place colored batter into cupcake liners and bake.

4. Crumble the colored cupcakes.

5. Add a dollop of your regular cake batter and mix. This helps to bind your crumbled cake together.

6. Roll into cake balls

 7. Place cake balls into cupcake liner.
8. Add just enough batter to cover the cake balls
 9. Bake!

Tips: Because a lot of the cupcake is already baked, decrease the amount of time in the oven to avoid burning. Make sure to keep an eye on your cupcakes!

10. DECORATE!!!!

In continuation of my health streak, check out this healthy alternative! Spring is coming and the thing that reminds me most of summer is a nice bowl of Dippen Dots ice cream from the Camel Beach Water Park. Well...just kidding. Spring will probably show up fashionably late this year because Nemo just crashed the party.

Ingredients:

- Yogurt
- That's it!

1. Place yogurt into a sandwich bag with the tip cut off

2. Make yogurt dots on foil and FREEZE!

3. Peel off yogurt dots into a cup. TADA!

For the next few weeks, my floor is focusing on health and exercise. If you know me well, you would realize that A.) I am a food addict and B.) I love ice cream. My goal is to lose about 20 pounds, so in an attempt to do so, I have been scanning the internet for healthy food substitutes. Trust me, this stuff is just as good as real ice cream but with a lot less calories. Try it out!

Ingredients:
- Frozen Bananas
- Nutella (or PB as an alternative)
Optional:
- Chocolate chips, Strawberries, banana slices, nuts, or anything else you want to add to your ice cream

1. Freeze Bananas

2. Slice Bananas

3. Remove peel from Banana slices

4. Place Banana slices and a dollop of Nutella/PB into blender and blend

5. Add optional ingredient of your choice and mix with spoon

6. Enjoy!

Done with classes for the week! Time to celebrate with some DIYing. This is a super cute and easy way to spruce up any old bangle or band of any kind actually. I used an old shower curtain ring I found from my house. Enjoy!

Materials:
- Embroidery floss thread
- Something to wrap
- Glue

1. Pick out some snazzy colors!

Its spring time, so I chose some pastels and a darker navy to help separate them.

 2. Pick out something you want to wrap

3. Measure about 6 lengths of the length of your object to cover the entire thing.

(I used 3 lengths to cover half the ring.)

4. Glue down the ends of the thread

5. START WRAPPING!
(this is the best part. Get creative! Not every section of color needs to be the same length. I just happened to do so)

Voila!
